It has certainly been a while since my last blog...I guess that could be laziness or just getting caught up in life, or sadly, it could be lack of inspiration {although there's never an excuse for the latter, but sometimes we keep ourselves from seeing clearly!}  Whatever the reason, now is the perfect time to jump back in... and I hope you will enjoy, share and return again.

This is the story of a family... the sweetest parents who have been blessed with the sweetest baby girl.  And I am so blessed to get to be a part of their story... it is an honor and a privilege to capture these special moments that they will treasure and share.  And they are part of the reason that I love being a Lifestyle Photographer....

Without further rambling... let me share...

This is Harper and her Daddy, Patrick... and this is well into our session on this gorgeous evening in Cherry Grove Beach, SC.  We were actually to the point that the photo session was pretty much finished up, and I wanted to see if I could get a few photographs with Harper sitting in the sand under the pier.  We weren't really sure how she would react to the sand and the ocean.  But clearly, this sweet girl has a natural love of the sea!  {Definitely a girl after my own heart!!}

After Harper was covered in wet sand from digging right into it, Laura {her absolutely gorgeous Mom} thought she'd try to rinse a little of the sand off of her.  But Harper was more than eager to play - and try out the sand in ocean.  This 6-mo-old is fearless, and loved it even when the water came up.  Of course, it was a moment to capture.... and we did! All the while, Mom and Dad were always just a step away.

One very happy little girl....

One very happy family.

This photo just makes my heart melt.  It was as if she was looking up to tell her parents "This has been the BEST day!"

It was a great way to end the day... and these memories and photographs will be shared and treasured by many for years to come.

Thank you to Patrick, Laura and Harper for inviting me to share in such a special time...
