Imagine my surprise when my phone rang and it was a call from a client asking how they are to get in touch with me and how they are to place their next order...then getting stopped by friends or acquaintances within a few more days wanting to know if I had changed my mind about joining another studio.  But then you can't even imagine how speechless I was when I got a call from a local publication wanting to know if I wanted to share my story... to "set the story straight."  It has warmed my heart to see (and hear) the concern for me and for my photography business.  It hadn't occurred to me that there was an ad floating around with information that would confuse or mislead.  And I have no doubt it was an innocent mistake or an oversight.  What has concerned me is that I wasn't alerted or even warned.

Sooooooooo...... to make sure all the information is straight, here is what you really need to know (and I would LOVE it if you would like to share a link to this with your friends in the area!)

I don't want anyone to be inconvenienced by the confusion - and I certainly don't want anyone to get conflicting or confusing information about what's going on with Photography by DonnaKay.  The "whole story" has been shared, and I do hope if you have any questions you'll read the blogs (three parts... click the links below to read)...

Part I: Business 101: Enter With Your Mind Alert at the Beginning - Part I

Part II: Business 101: Hold Onto Your Heart - Part II

Part III: Business 101: The Nitty Gritty - Part III - The Final Part

Sometimes things in life just don't go quite the way we're planning, but I like to believe that's part of the excitement... part of the journey that gets us where we're supposed to be going.  I'm very happy to continue serving my clients as Photography by DonnaKay. I've never planned on changing the way I do business with you, and will always try to make the decisions that I feel are best to uphold the highest standard as your photographer.  I'm looking forward to seeing where this next year will take us, and so excited that you're along for the journey!
